Ingredients:

2cups all-purpose flour
1tablespoon baking powder 1/2teaspoon salt 1/2cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces 3/4cup milk Instructions
A small spoonful of vanilla

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking
 powder, and salt.3. Add the cold butter pieces to the bowl, and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.4. Pour in the milk and stir everything together gently, just until the dough begins to come together.5. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface, and knead it two or three times until it becomes smooth.6. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough until it’s about 1/2 inch thick.
